thats the link. i'm shooting blanks.

ps, dont give me a hard time because its not complex finger picking or something like that, i can fingerpick, not very good, but itsnot my style anyway.

thanks.-
tom

btw, thats 2 octave mc012s, 1 on 12th fret the other on the sound hole. recorded a track for right and left. didnt try to hard to get them in time as you can tell.

thanks.

Tom, I like your progression. For the verse you could start with G Am, then proceed to C and D or C and Em or D and C. There are a lot of variations but G Am is a good start.

You might find a place for a Bm chord in there also to add some color.

Good luck.

i'm tryin here. thanks guys those helped alot. i'm just tryin to make something that sounds sad almost. its hard when youre by yourself sometimes, you run out of ideas.

You still ahve 2 minor and an augmented chord to use in the key of G. If you want sad, use the minors Bm and Am. Am to D is a nice change. Try a Dmaj7 xx0222 for a more melancholic chord.

this is ridiculous. ive never had this much trouble with any songs before. i'm tryin all the ideas i'm just shootin blanks. oh well. thanks everyone.

I just wrote the perfect verse for you but I like it so much I decided to keep it. :D

might as well take the chorus too, i cant make anything for it haha.

tuck it away and save it for later. it'll come in handy. try some inversions, moving bass notes, and some chords outside of the rules.

Just start with a G, that'll probably do it. I'd go for G Em C D or G C D Em.
I think you should focus more on melody than chord progression, but this is a good start!
