So I am on the way to doing a DIY project and I am not sure what i need to do about my windows, I was thinking about acoustic blankets or something but adding a bass trap in this corning of the room is going to be impossible because of the window.

So would just acoustic panels work decent for absorption? or should i wait on acoustic treatment until i can get a better room?
The window is off on this diagram its actually like 2 inches from the wall, i can't just block this window I don't own the house I am living in,(if it was up to me i would just get rid of the damn thing!)
