What Program Should i use?

im using rite now Cool Edit Pro 2.1 and Audacity; but they are both giving me problems on tryin to use Auto-Tune like T-pain?, and that what i really want to do, but what i really want is if there are better programs than these two, and im thinking to upgrading to Adobe Audition the latest one.

Also i have Auto tunes demo but it wont show up on either Cool Edit Pro or Audacity... help?

Well...if you wanna pay then go with Pro Tools.
