Hey everyone, currently having some trouble figuring out what to do. I have a Marshall 410H 100W amp with a Marshall 4x12 cabinet. I have a Shure SM57 mic on the grill (centered on a speaker) that runs straight to the Guitar Rig Kontroller 3 pedalboard (its an interface with its built in pre-amps). I have this all running in Cubase 4 but the problem is that when I record, the volume is SO very low. When I try to turn it up on the Rig Kontroller the tone sounds like garbage.
Here's my question: Should I invest in a seperate pre-amp to get the sound louder/better sounding? If so, what would be the most recommended (without going over 250). I only need 1 mic input.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
