Roland Super Jupiter
Roland JV1080
Roland JV8080
Roland D50
Korg DW8000

Comtrolled via a Studiologic sl-880 pro.

I just picked up a Casio PX310 for a hammer action piano (surprisingly decent feel and sound) - this now joins my other keys/modules:

Roland XP30
Roland D50
Roland Juno106
Roland XP5050
Kurzweil 1200 Pro10
Emu Proteus 1
Kawai K-1R
Akai S-2000

I also have a Yamaha PSR330 (got it for $10 at a rummage sale) which I use for taking to the beach or whatever. And my "baby" an accoustic "upright grand" (don't remember the manufacturer) vintage in the range of late 1800's or early 1900's. I bought it from a chick singer who really needed cash - got it for $300 back in about 1979 or 1980. I've had to move it 3 times and it is an absolute bear (after the 2nd move my friends told me not to call them any more)- but It is the nicest sounding upright I've ever heard.

Studiologics have really good hammer action controllers. What model are you using now? You might want to keep an eye out for one of their models that have hammer action.

I use an old DW8000 Korg as controller to run softsynths stored on a dedicated PC.

Hi All,

...Yamaha P80 here. To my hands, the piano samples and the key feel was just right.
Cliff Richard, you can test the follow-up model, the P-90, but I have been told by someone I trust that the P-90 in fact doesn't sound as good on 'Piano' setting because Yamaha wanted more voices in the 90 but also wanted to keep within the price range of the 80, so something had to give...
I haven't tried the 90 myself, but just passing this on.
The action on the 80 is wonderful. Now, if I could just afford Gigastudio and the sampled Bosendorfer Imperial Grand, that would make for a killer package.

Good luck in your search,
C.

Roland U20.

Moog Voyager Electric Blue

I wish I had something with a real keyboard feel. Like a 9' Steinway! :p
