I hadn't heard aboot the QC issues they're having... (or the compatibility problems with GeForce 4's...) well it's a good thing you ran across those.. I could given you some really bad advice..
Gigabyte has been known for their stability, so this is actually a bit of a surprise to me... in which case I would go back to recommending the Soyo (or the Asus A7V333). The Soyo has respectable performance and boucoup features, so it's still a great board.
P.S. Epox have long since had stability problems,.. and the EP-8K3A+ is said to be no exception.
