Not at all what I was suggesting.
The person I possibly got it from (if I got it) first did a home test, it indicated negative. Talked to I think it was the nurse practitioner on the phone without mentioning the C word, or the test, NP went the "more than likely allergies, take this and/or that". The person asked if it might be a good idea to get tested for the C. NP said yeah, wouldn't be a bad idea. Went and got tested. Tested positive.
I was more just curious the experience of a fellow traveler coupled with the previously unmentioned above. I never tested, at all, even though I have home tests tucked away probably still in a box from the move to the new residence. Other than curiosity didn't see an upside to going to get a test or digging through boxes. We've pretty much just quarantined since last Saturday. Actually, I think it's 5 days and you're good to go? Who knows, the science evolves. I could have sworn there was a new directive saying don't worry about quarantining at all. I could be wrong. I've stayed on the safe side out of respect for others.
