Well hell .......... that's er, ah , ummm, heartfelt at least.

Look ......... you're obviously just getting started and it's not possible for you to play and sing like someone who's been doing it for years. A beginner is gonna sound like a beginner and that's where you are right now. But you won't be forever so have fun and keep working on it.
It would help, though, if folks gave you more specific suggestions on how to get better.

So, first, I would start working on your pitch control when singing. There's a lot of ways to do that and if you care, I'm sure you kind find like, a zillion sites on the net with exercises and such to improve your singing skills. That's the first thing that jumped out at me. When you're doing a vocal song, especially with just a single acoustic guitar, the vocal is gonna be the thing that everyone focuses on ......... you can kind slide around the pitch some ....... but if you get too far off, it's gonna keep people from listening deeper to anything else. They won't notice if the words are cool or if there's a decent chord structure or anything else really.

So that's where I'd put my efforts if it were me.

I played the Savannah tune on my guit...nice progression....F-C-G....sounded cool with added 7ths and 9ths.... three chord songs rule :D

bass and drums and a little lead would be cool too...that's arrangement man
The lyric ain't that good though man...it's vaque and without a hook.
You should use the title of the song as your Hook in a structured chorus for your tune and tell a story that will not leave the listener wondering were you are coming from...something like...

From this world girl....
I miss you every day now...
Savannah.......
Savannah.......

I agree with the LT. about working on your vocals but, you could work on your writing too man.
For 14 years of age...this is pretty f-in good.

I think some people here just don't like this style of music. Well, I do. I'd say:

Savannah: yeah, try an arrangement. Until then, read up here on how to use the mics you have on your acoustic guitar. As for the singing, I don't mind a lot of off pitch stuff, but you gotta sound like you mean it. So keep singing the part until you can sing it with authority. Joe Strummer couldn't sing to save his life, but the Clash still rock. Dig up an ancient track called Death is a Star and you'll see what I mean.

Wake Up: I actually like this track a lot. The snare is, probably against its better judgment, syncopated in a cool way. The micing technique on the snare could use some help, so read up on that too. The guitar parts are cool, but cut 'em until you lose the flubbed notes. For the vocal, try playing the melody on your guitar, then listen to the guitar in the cue to help you stay on pitch. If you're really up for a challenge, try adding a harmony vocal on the chorus using the same technique. Also, during the verses, drop the guitars in the mix a little, or play a simpler part and save the good stuff for the breaks.
