I know this is kind of specific. I am doing a research. I know absolutely nothing about microphones so i hope one of all the experts reading this will tell me.

Also, i am new to this forum and all of this. The only thing is I love to sing. That's all.

Thanks and i hope i didn't break any of the rules by posting a new thread for this short question?

anyone? at least write "I don't know" so i can look further

I have no idea - but knowing the country where the picture was taken may be a clue.

If it was the USA, then it could be an old Shure or EV - if it was Europe it would more likely be a European brand.

I recall Sennheiser having some mics that looked a bit similar to that one back in the 70s but I don't remember anything identical.

it was taken in Sweden in 1972

I understand this is a very difficult question.. I still have hope :)

I don't think so, but it's very close.
It looks like hers doesn't have the little bad that says 'shure' on it, and it also looks like hers has a switch.

Exactly - the body of the microphone pictured with Agnetha is much thicker.

It really looks like a Turner 510.

The end of the microphone looks slightly different.

I thought it might be a Shure Unidyne model, but after looking again, I don't think that's right either

I got it! I think.

It has to be an Audiotex / GC LQQK HERE And HERE about a third of the way down the page on the left.

moresound: that's unbelievable! Thank you for spending time and finding it!

hmm..but now the more I look at it, the more i feel it's not entirely the same.

hers doesn't have than thin black band and also hers i think has more..oh my i can't seem to find an English word for that.
I looked up Audiotex and it's like this brand never existed.

IDK looks like it to me.

I'll keep looking though.
yer eyes must not be as good as your ears! :D

Look ...... on the Audiotex there's a black ring ( a spacer maybe) between the body and the flared out part ..... there is no black ring on the OP's mic.
And the head part of the Audiotex is clearly tapered a little bit towards the grill whereas on the OP's mic it is very clearly completely straight or in that one pic possibly tapered the other way although I think that's just that one pic and it;s straight. But it definitely doesn't taper towards the grill.
And lastly on the Audiotex the screens in between the bars are almost twice as wide as the bars whereas on the OP's mic the bars and the screens are about the same width.
And lastly on the Audiotex there look to be 7 .... maybe 8 of those bars .... on the OP's mic looks like at least 9 of them .... possibly 10.
No way those are the same mics.
