EDIT: reuploaded a 2nd attempt at the same link. I added some verb to the drums, added more verb to the vocals, added verb to the chant, eqd the cymbals a little (not much I can do here, shifty kit), added some samples to the toms, changed my sample on the kick, compressed the bass more and turned it up. Did a tiny notch around 350 on the master bus as well as adding some air. Am I any closer?

I think it's alright but wanted to get some extra ears. Thanks!

I'm gonna be pretty harsh here.....I think it's pretty light in the bottom end and sort of boxy. The timing is pretty bad in many spots which makes it sound sloppy. The kick and toms have no power. The hats and cymbals are okay but kind of trashy. The bass is M.I.A. No real bass gtr presence rumbling in there anywhere. I want to like the guitars. They're not bad. The vocals are terrible. That whiny Blink-182 style vocal really grates on me. Fat Mike is about the only guy that does it without making me want to smash him. The gang vocals have no bigness to them. It just sounds like a bunch of kids yelling. I'm thinking Toy Dolls style gang vocals would be way better....you know, like a bunch of oi-boy skins belting it out with a big room effect or something. The mix just needs more tweaks. It's not far off, just get back to work.

The boxyness of the toms really gets me more than anything. They sound a little to upfront but muffled at the same time. I like the snare tone though. For this type of music Steven Slate Drums could suit you well :D. Good guitar tones. I also here no bass. Also it seems like everything sounds a bit separated. Some reverb on the drums and vocals could do you good. Oh I might automate the vocals in some parts as they get a bit soft. I second the gang vocals sounding weak. My band did some gang vox where we were all chanting and we pointed the mic into a corner. Something like that might work or at least be a fun time! If you did a handful of passes and blended them all kinda low it could sound like an actual crowd.

Alright thanks for the honesty. What should I try to make the chant better. Same for the toms and cymbals. Eq?

Sounds alright to me. I like the snare drum sound - has a nice pop to to.

The new mix is definitely a big improvement. I still don't hear any bass though, it seems in pop punk the bass is very scooped and present. The toms also could be more narrow. Hard panned toms sound kinda corny to me. Good work overall though. I would still re-track the chants if you can but they definitely sound better with the verb on there.
