Got
"the Following File Cannot Be Located" message
For two existing projects I had. When I tried to open them.
It said
"C:\Prog files\cakewalk\cakewalk home studio 2002\audio data\RC110g8KF.wav" couldn't be found. It gave me the same sequence of messages for another project . (probably different numbers).
Then another box popped up and it said
"some external audio files could not be found, missing audio data will be replaced with silence". But I don't have any external drive or anything.
So the projects had all the tracks and Effects all like original, but with a flatline for every track.
Needless to say I'm crushed. Is this work all really gone?
A few minutes before I had done a "compact audio data" on another third project I'm working on. That project re-opens fine. I had also done the "Clean Audio disk" command too and said "yes to all" Then I re-started my computer. These actions had never wiped anything out before.
What did I do? How can I get back all that stuff?
I just emailed Cakewalk support but,
Has any of you had this happen before ?
Thanks alot
