I play the bass guitar, just not like a bassist.

I use a dark metallic red Hohner B2A that I got at a pawn shoppe when I was 17. It has active electronics, but they were broken when I bought it and I still haven't fixed them. I got it because I wanted a headless bass really bad and after stumbling onto it for an unbelievable price, I just couldn't pass it up. I'll admit, the look and colour didn't fit me at first, but I've grown to love the thing so much. The old bass is pretty beat up these days, but I love the character an instrument gets after having all sorts of cosmetic damage. I have a William Shatner (always my Captain) Pog(tm) glued between the two pickups. The bass guitar is -of course- affectionately referred to as: "Shatner".
