What book do you recommend..

I want to buy another home recording book for beginners/intermediate. I already have PC Recording Studios for Dummies and The Everything Home Recording book. What would you recommend?

F. Alton Everest definitely. For all the basics of sound, perception, micing, the why and how (including DIY) of studio acoustics. I have the 'New Stereo Soundbook', 'Building A Small Budget Studio..' and 'Sound Studio Construction..' They have been invaluable.

A bad movie with Anthony Quinn; however, a great novel to ponder over the vagaries of the young mind.

Modern Recording Techniques by David Miles Huber. Excellent. Not strictly beginner, but it has something for everyone.
