After some learning, and some advice, I am planning on getting;

CAD M9 Microphone
M-Audio Profire 610

Now I am pretty sure that is all I need, other than Monitors, Headphones because I am not getting a mixer. Am I wrong about that? (I am a Newbie, I'm Sorry)

Also I am still wondering what Studio Monitors and Headphones to get, I am going to get some cheap ones for now. What are some good cheap Monitors and Headphones for Hip-Hop?

I'm not sure at the type of room I will be in because I'm moving so I'm not worried about Soundproof and all that yet.

Wellll, I looked it up and didnt see to many reviews on the profire, so Id say with go something you can at least find reviews on..

The firebox got a lot of pretty good reviews, I have the firestudio and im happy with it, so I dont see how a smaller version could horrible haha

plus youll save $100 to go towards something else!

So tell me what you budget is and what kind of stuff your recording...interface your going to/want to use

I will be recording Hip-Hop/Rap vocals only, so I will only be using one mic at a time. Budget is around $1000, but the more under that the better. The CAD M9 is $299 and so is the Firebox so that would be around 600.

I was told that the CAD M9 was a better choice than the Rode NT1A n the NT2A, by someone on here. Also I just read on the link that you gave me that if you have a deep voice it doesn't work that well, and I have a very deep voice.

Ohhh, true true, well I deffinatly trust someone else on here more than myself soooo go with them haha

those cables are the same in the sense that they are mogami gold, its just xlr to trs, the ones I linked you to are xlr to xlr...id suggest the ones I sent, but its up to you mannggg

I am trying to find the ones you said on http://www.musiciansfriend.com

http://accessories.musiciansfriend.com/product/Mogami-Gold-Stage-Mic-Cable-with-Neutrik-XLR-Connectors?sku=338011??

if those aren't it would you please go on the site and show me them

Well it depends on what monitors you go with, because they have different outputs/inputs...but if you went with the krks go with something like this..

I just picked these up earlier cause my local store recommened them...but they are $45 each hah, but if you can afford that, you will never have to buy a cable ever again cause it has a lifetime guarantee and mogami is the "industry standard" mic cable (if anyone disagrees dont be mad! im sure there are better cables somewhere im just speakin in generalities:o)

Sorry bro. :D I've gotten a lot of cables from audiopile from the talk the cables get on here. I couldn't be happier. Only place I get my mic cables from now. Hell you could still probably take those cables back.

If you're at the point where you can actually tell a difference in your recording/monitoring chain between a $10 and a $50 cable then you're probably sitting on a couple hundred grands worth of profession studio gear and so the extra $40 on cables really wouldn't be an issue :)
