What a Joke this guy is

It’s frightening how people like this can even manage to list an item on ebay. How do they do it? Even worse they have the right to vote in this country simply because they were born here and reach a certain age. How crazy is that? :p

Rather then whining like a little girl, why doesn't the vendor just have the bidding start at $200 bucks and be done with it?

If common sense is so common, how come nobody seems to bloody well have any of it? :D

Cheers! :)

I ran the description through Systran using eBay Description>>English mode. It’s funny ‘cause it just spit out one line.

"I do not know shit about this thing, so bid on it now or else, you lousy bastards!"

And I’m afraid it could get bad for the seller because the only thing the current bidder has dealt with in the past are firearm accessories… the latest being a long-range rifle scope and a Pistol Pouch for a Blackhawk. Oddly enough he’s also from Kansas City just like the seller. This could get ugly. :p

Oh, maybe it will be ok though because they seem to be good friends. One feedback from audioslacker to giantcarpcatfish really says it all:

“The most bestest e-bayer out there!! Told me a good fishing story! Paid By Hand!”

They guy was trying to save himself some money, in voliation of eBay's policies:

A seller is not permitted to misuse the Reserve price feature. Misuse includes:
  • Stating the reserve price of the item when the item has not been listed using the reserve price feature. ...
  • Canceling bids and ending a listing early because the seller's desired price has not been met to avoid reserve fees.
Listings that violate the reserve price policy are not permitted. Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
  • Listing cancellation
    ...
Don

But doesn't it defeat the purpose of having no reserve if you tell people there is a reserve?

Having a reserve makes the listing more expensive. He was probably trying to avoid that extra expense.

All Reserve Price Auctions are subject to a Reserve Price Auction Fee that is refunded when you successfully complete your auction on eBay. If your item does not sell, this fee is not refunded.
