I don't know if this is anything that can be helped, cause I'm lost right now. I was recording a sermon at my church and when I went to meixdown the pastor sounded a lot deeper than normal, but with normal speed. I checked and at one point at the beginning his voic ejust drops, the recording, not his real voice. It's weird, and it's kinda not sounding good low. Anyway just wondered if anyone else has had that happen.

Could it be......?

Could it be..........................Satan?

Chill Church Dude, just bringing back and old Dana Carvey SNL skit?

When my soundcard acts up sometimes, I get that volume drop, but accompanied by the tempo becoming slower as well - I think the sample rate gets scrambled or something.

Is it possible to do a 'Save As' on the file using a different sample rate to see if you can resurrect the pastor's original voice?

I'm just thinking out loud here - I've never actually tried this.

maybe, let me see. I did have problems with my soundcard that day. I have an indigo card and it was acting up. I'll check that save as dealy, and I did use a high sampling rate 88,2
