Well, my friend came over a few nights ago, and we recorded this off the top of our heads, we don't usually rehearse or anything before we record, mainly because we're too lazy.

Anyway, it was recorded in one take, in mono, with a single MXL 990 mic and an audio buddy, in a crappy bedroom. He played the rhythm while I just came up with a simple lead while he played.

I let him add the effects to the guitars (reverb) and he has no experience with this kind of stuff, so obviously there is a lot of reverb in there, but I think it sounds pretty cool.

Anyway, here's the link:

Sounds like you had a nice evening. Very mellow stuff. A picture comes to mind of one on horseback, riding slowly along a river, taking in the beauty and wonders of nature. Very very nice!!! :)

Are all of those effects coming from your guitar or do you have a synth too?

Yea it's a VST synth. :p Kind of hard playing a virtural keyboard with a mouse, but it works I guess.

Thanks for listening, glad you liked it.

this sounds very good, real soothing, perfect for a friday morning :)

the verb is heavy, but it works very well for the overall mood of the piece.

very cool track
