Weird panning?

any ideas why it did that? I used an mg10 with various mics.

Were you using the stereo outs on the mixer? If so, it sounds like you had a bad connection somewhere. I'd check your cabling.

i was just using headphone out to my sound card.

Are you compressing the overheads? If you compress them as seperate mono tracks that will happen. They need to go through a stereo compressor so both tracks are turned down at the same time.

If it were constant, I'd agree, but I've heard the same thing listening to something on headphones that had a bad connection.
