I like it. Foundation, bass/drums, is really good and sturdy. Some of the electronic sounds could be quieter. Vocals have a good sound to them, as well. Listened on my HS8 and HS280.

e-piano might be a touch loud, especially at the beginning.

That's the first thing that pops out to me. Otherwise, it's probably pretty coherent.

Saxophone is obviously a keyboard, but I suspect you're doing that for effect?

Nice atmosphere on this one. Right at the start after the intro fill the keyboard stab and snare hit don't quite line up. Good job on the vocals and bvs. That section that starts around 2.24 seems to be speeding up a little

The e-piano didn't sound loud to me, up front yes, but it sounds intended at the start. After 2:50ish it does sound like it was louder. Agree with BH, seems like it does speed up there towards the back end. I thought sax wasn't bad.

Overall, only thing I would look at is the sounds during the 2:50 mark. Other than that, I think it sounds pretty good.

Thanks for the listens. Last thing I did in the mix was turn the lead vocal down by about 2dB, seemed to settle it in more.
2:56 - yes there's a piano hit there that's a little loud (velocity sensitive keys, you know), easy to adjust. It's the only thing I could see/hear that was loud at that point.
Yes, sax is done with keyboard. The only sax player I know is trying to get his chops back, I haven't asked him about recording yet, that could be months or a year off.
There are time changes throughout the song, verses are at 116bpm, choruses at 120, bridge at 124 - which might be more noticeable coming from the little instrument part @ 116 before it, and me trying to 'catch up' on one or other of the instruments for a moment.

Which electronic sounds do you mean? Keyboard? Sax?

Good solid mix. I would have turned the keys down a touch. It seems over complicated to have the parts speed up-it works pretty well for the verse chorus change but the bridge sounds a bit awkward to me. Vocals are sitting well, easy to hear the words. I would have had some more movement in the bass line..some kind of melodic pattern to make the two chord groove a bit more interesting. My personal preferences aside i think your song is coming across very well. Good job.

Thanks. I agree regarding the bridge speed, the speed felt right when I was doing it, it was the transitions that made it noticeable. It's amazing how even 2 bpm increase is noticeable, and that was an 8 jump. If I was going to redo the song (which I'm not), I'd do the instrument part before the bridge at the same speed as the chorus (120), then speed up to 122 for the bridge. I think if I try to do that digitally, with the pitch locked, its going to suffer, but may try it just to see.

The thing that jumped out to me was the Piano. Something about it just sticks it out in an unpleasant way. Not sure if its just too loud, EQ'ing, or it's presence. I am wondering if you just try to stick it back in the mix a little more with some reverb or panning. Everything else sounds really good from what I can tell, its just that piano sticks out like a sore thumb.

Not much to add to what the others said. Probably the best vocal performance I heard from you.

The chorus gets cluttered. To me there is just a bit too much going on. THings/parts are clashing.

The drums are mostly kick and snare. Not hearing much from the cymbals.
