very cool,,,different league in mix and performance than us mere mortals...had a real acid jazz feel about

Okay, the first three words out of my mouth were, "Wow".

This girl can sing, Cosmic can mix and the tune sounds great.

So, you know, i'm up for the challenge... gotta get picky to find something to offer up as a suggestion. Whew, i've got two things I might suggest.... the ride cymbal kind of gets boring after a while. Curious if there's not another option to switch it up a bit.

I was taken back with the singer, she is great. But after a while, I started noticing she is too consistent, not a lot of variation in her delivery. I'm assuming it's planned like that because it fits the song, but on the other hand, it's one dimensional and loses the grip of the listener.

Eh, it was a challenge to come up with those two little nitpicks. Love the song, thanks for bringing it here.

Song was originally an instrumental however I created vocal melody for the song and then Tricia "the singer" tried to copy what i did so perhaps thats why there is lack of emotion or dynamics in vocals because she was trying to copy from my vocal melody example.

As for the drums...Im just glad I could get real drums on the song...thats a feat in itsself.

There are parts of the song i dont like either however overall it turned out ok...its not my best stuff however people seem to like the song.
 
Pretty good song.
One thing I can't get friendly with is that jingle-jangely guitar going on incessantly in the back. Nice mix though.

Pretty cool. I like the lead guitar. That is a very Pink Floydy tone.

I heard a pop right after the second line and there a few lip smacks and what not in the vocal line.
 
Yeah there are a few pops and clicks...Instead of fixing them I decided just to leave as is and try and learn from it...I need to edit vocal tracks before treating them to remove any punching in and out (mouse clicks) and to try and remove lip smacks (if possible)

Recordings are not perfect however we did the best with what we had...basically a learning process and just hope to do better in the next song.
 
I am a fan of lip smacking I TRY for it.

On the second chorus I would have like her to switch up a 5th or even an octave on the vocal to give it some passion.
 
Sounds really good. Good mix and quality is outstanding. Great job! Wish I could get my recordings to sound this good. :(
