I posted this in "Other Equipment and reviews", but thought this might be better suited for this forum:

Has anyone tried this yet? A guitar player sampled this clip on another board. Very impressive. Sounds just like a Dumble!

Cue into the middle solo:

Waves GTR tool sample clip

Anyone have any exprience with this software? I might have to check it out...

I've used it and honestly didn't care much for it. Guitar Rig 2, in my opinion, is a better choice. I'll admit I didn't do very much tweaking in it, just using the stock sounds. The crunchy tones were pretty good, the clean were really lacking, and the heavy distortions seemed a bit off to me as well. It also caused my system to crash a good bit (running with Protools) so I've uninstalled it.

This is interesting. You have to admit, the clip had some good tone going on. Thanks for your feedback!

the tone actually sounds good! I'm sure the guy did some tweaking, I mean I'd be surprised if it's a stock patch he used with it.

by the way the drummer is sick! the ending drum fills he did were wicked.
