I didn't bother to read the whole thread cus I liked it alot! It's pretty cool and original. I think the snare is buried with all the reverb it has and the kick should also be brought up a bit.

Question: Can plugins be made to howl with feedback?
Answer: Yes.

Question: Does it sound good?
Answer: No.

Question: Does this recording convey a message, & is it fun to listen to anyway?
Answer: Yes.

(IMO/YMMV)...

That it's intentionally noisy is part of the concept. I get that.

its been awhile since i've posted here, but my name is brandon and im friends with Allen and Brian--you remember? I really dig the tune; to me it feels somewhat in the vien of My Bloody Valentine. If you havent already, you should check them out. Kevin Shields does some pretty noisy layering on the guitar. Anyway Travis, keep up the good work , im trying to get my studio up and running maybe ill post some stuff.

hey brandon thanks for popping in and commenting. yea, i remember you. the guy with the HUGE mic! i hope your band is going well and tell allen/brian i said hello if they're still around athens. i haven't heard my bloody valentine. will definately check them out.
