Warmer vocals

Thank you everyone for you replies...
We´ve been trying all the things that you guys suggested and we´re getting closer to a good warm sound...
Please, don´t stop posting, we are learning a lot but we still want more!!!!
We guess many of you are learning new tips too (right?)

I know what you mean Black. Seeing as how the ear is natrurally more attracted to higher frequencies than low or at least picks them out first, if youre mixing a high pitched singer you need to take serious care not to overdue the volume. Thats where compression and band limiting come in very handy. Also for "warm vocals" especially if you want "warm + smooth" try a little bit of flange on the doubled vocal or on the main vocal and doubled vocal. This is kind of the same as detuning one vocal to get a wider sound except here you also get the smoothness from the flange which is a nice texture. The key here is not to put on too much so that its recognizably flanged in the mix or else itll be thin and whiny.
