WANTED: Cheap Mics

Depends what you're going to do with it. I have an old Sony stereo microphone in excellent condition that I'd sell you for $25 (USPS to lower 48 included), but I'm not sure I'd be doing you much of a service. What do you think?

Sony F-99M, one point dynamic stereo microphone, uni-directional for each of right and left capsule, 80Hz-12kHz freq. response, 200 Ohm impedance (low), 1.5 meter cable with 2 mini-plugs and 1/4 inch adaptors.

I've done some decent live recordings in auditorium with this mic, running it straight into a stereo tape deck that had mic inputs. I also used it to produce a few relaxation tapes.

However, this is a cheapy -- probably cost me $50 or less back in 1979 -- and almost any of the newer mics will be better for most purposes. Price is now $20 including postage to lower 48.

Axis, You're likely better off with whatever Trebles is offering. My old Sony is just a give-away for someone who cannot afford anything else.
