Anyone use the WamiRack24 or the new Wami192? How is the sound quality? Compared to Delta 1010? Latency is supposedly super low at 1.5ms. Anyone know anything?
The Wami 192 has 123db dynamic range on the A/D conversion.

Bump..

I'm interested in this as well. I have heard something about that their driver-support is slow but that their latest e-wdm-drivers should work fine. I don't know about the sound-quality, but the specs look nice. I think it uses crystal converters.

Audiotrak is a daughter-company of EgoSys, creator of the Wamirack-series. My Inca88 uses the E-WDM-technology, and they've worked without a problem...

But I still think that my ASIO-drivers are better.

FYI manufactures spec mean shit

if u want a new sound card get the Lynx two its proven w/o a doubt to be the best sound card...if u need 8 inputs and outs go for the RME

But it's a great way to measure one card against another.

You mean it's "proven" to be one of the best cards. ;)

Who has proof? :D

well maybe that statement was a bit bold...but people who have experience with the high end stand alone converters say its the best sound card to date some say its competes wit the apogees and lucid's and maybe surpasses those middle(apogee, lucid) of the road converters

depends what u think is a fortune

it retails at there website for $1000, which i think is reasonable if the A/D/A converters are as good as some people say they are

Actually, from what I've heard, the converters in the wamirack are THE SAME as the converters in the lynx card.

On the other hand, cards with the same converter doesn't always sound the same. Delta audiophile and rme multiface both uses the same set of converters and from what I've heard there's a world of difference between these two.

from what i've heard its usually the analog circuitry in the converters which determine ok converters and great converters

but after that revelation maybe the wami rack is as good as the lynx
