Hey there,

Im building up a studio with a good sized control room and live room and therefore need to get mics between them! Im thinking a wall box is the right way to go? After an inital google i cant find much so was wondering if people have experience of these and which are the best to go for. Thanks a lot, duggan :)

I used standard electrical boxes, seeing as to how I only needed to get 4 mics thru. This hurt my isolation a little, but it wasnt really a problem. You can also just do an aluminum box flush with the wall. If frederic sees this post, he has some pretty helpful pics. I searched thru like 10 pages of his posts and couldnt find the thread!

ah i wouldnt mind seeing some pictures as im looking to get the studio up and running quite soon, its gonna be a mammoth task as the floors and stuff still need to be reinforced and what not. Im gonna try and post a collection of pictures that should aid other people making a studio in there loft/house :)

You could always just buy a snake then just trim it around do it dosen't stick out. Saves alot of trouble. :)
