These would, of course, be custom-machined and resonance-modified wheels.

Now that's a cool piece of kit and i must say it sounds more up you're street.
Dump the massive phonograph thingy get a mini screw driver and Bobs your uncle.

What do you intend to track wih it Henry?
It seems very adaptable. I've only ever seen 2 of these crop up on ebay.

Well Richard - I've used it for live public speaking but it shines during recording. I tried it on a bass cab and a kick drum but nothing serious yet on recording vocals.

If you get a chance of biding on one for cheap ($200.ish) go for it!

You got that right Bobs my uncle and Fanny's my aunt as we say here.

Ps if i see one going for $200 i'll defo jump on it

Pps I'd be intrested to hear some samples of the mic used on the same source with differant mic EQ settings applied.

Hey Henry, if you haven't seen it, here's the version for location recording. They've really got the power supply down in size.

Presumably, the antenna device is for picking up stray lightning bolts to charge up the batteries?

No, it's wireless so you can work the crowd.
