A guy on craigslist here is selling 2 VTB1 mic pre's for $80 each. He says they're a couple years old but only used a couple times and they've been in the box for years unused.
Any thoughts? They go for $140 on mf.com. Anyone have opinions on these? Like em? Love em? Hate em?
I'd be using them for vocals (w/ a Octava 319) or maybe for drum over heads (w/ 2 Octava MK012s).
Right now I'm using a Soundcraft M8 for preamps. But, I recently picked up a second soundcard so I have 16 channels available.
Should I buy em?
