i am currently using a vtb-1 as my vocal mic pre and im looking to upgrade. im going to be getting an aardvark q10 as well.
What i want is a better mic pre as well as a compressor.
Ive been looking at the presonus eureka as an all in package or getting a stand alone comp like the RNC and just keeping my VTB-1.
would the Eureka be a significant difference from the vtb-1 pre.
My budget is around $400 for compressor/mic pre. thanks
