FYI,
v1.210 for the 2480 is out. I posted it on www.midi-it.com along with pdf's telling about the updates.

VS-Planet is not accepting new members, so whoever reads this is probably the first to know.

What?

Why not? D'ya mean you're not a member and that I couldn't be one if I tried? Bummer, because I was originally on the VS-880 discussion group back around '97 or so when it first started. Had to leave for a while. Eh. That's what I get for not staying active.
 
Im expecting my 2480 to arrive friday,. I hope it has the current version but it probably will not. Should I "SMF update" it before I record on it ? Or just play with it and later do the update.
 
i'd update right away,, it adds features... you can read about them in the pdf's
