I like Voxengo's plugs quite a lot. Are they better than Waves? They are different, and have unique approaches to things where Waves stays more in the normal approach. I expect Waves has more money to put into developing and refining it's plugs, and they are very good at it. They are pricey, but that's the space they play in, and no one would buy them if they didn't deliver the quality that goes with the price. On the other hand, Voxengo plugs are very good quality, take a much fresher approach, and are reasonably priced. That's a winning combo for me, but some may not "get" the voxengo approach.
