Vox effects

there is this one effect i am trying to work out how to do, i am sure it is relatively simple, but not sure how to describe it.

It sounds like a chorus, but lots of different pitches at once. typical examples are found in pop songs, usually "oooooohs" and "aaaaahs".

if i was to guess (i have no way of testing at the moment) i would say its like the source sound, then some higher pitch shifts with a lo cut on them.

i dunno. any help?
 
A lot of the effects we call chorus include two or more slightly shifted and delayed voices modulating above and below the source voice.
It could also be several overdub layers or voices doing the same part. Presumably, either is a way to simulate a 'Chorus' -as in a small Choir.

its probably vocoded slightly aswell, so you got a good solid oooohhh. cheers.
