If it's gonna have a toilet on the cover,then I'm not gonna apply to have song on it.

I have nothing against toilets, mind you. I use them every day for this or that purpose, and very occasionally even vomit into them, but for a cover for a CD that has a song of mine on it? No thanks.

I've been working at outgrowing self-deprecation for a few decades now. A 'my work is associated with shit' motif is not my idea of what I want to front a CD containing my stuff. It's funny, sure. But it's dead negative and dumb.

I've been working hard at my music and my recording of it. 'Flush here' is not a message that's appropriate to that.

Put a picture of Dragon on the cover. Or Slack. I don't care.
 
Don't be lame. I record vocals 3 feet from my toilet. Such is the life of a homerec'er with limited resources! I don't think it has anything to do with "poop".

If it offends people to have it in the bathroom such as dobro and probably others who have read and not spoken up maybe a similar photo but in a closet or a bedroom.
 
Geez Dobro, lighten up. This CD will not go much further than HR.Com members. The cover is not really an issue.

This is just a thought...maybe use the bathroom, but show the girlfriend pissed off because she can't get in...door slightly ajar...buncha cords runnin thru the door...guy sittin on the throne w/ strat...something like that...perhaps less offending to dobro.
 
I gotta admit the bathroom idea was pretty clever....run with a variation of that one.
