Vocoder plugin

I haven`t used one since Korg built the first one. Does anybody use a software vocoder and are they any good?

ORANGE VOCODER by Prosoniq.

It is a GREAT plug-in.

Cubase comes with one - probably made by mda, though. Never used it - you're stuck with a stock carrier tone.

I'll be checking out the mda though, love their piano and ep (both also free)!

no complaints. as i was just telling someone else, great for saving snare tracks!

The Roland VS2480 has a couple of Vocoder algorithms. The 19-band one is not bad at all.
