At what frequency(s) do the nasally qualities occur in vocals?

Curious myself, but if I was to guess before one of the gurus jump in,, I would say that "Nasally" wouldnt be a characteristic of frequency. Maybe? That would be a characterisic of the vocalist or maybe the mic it's self or both.

Generally frequencies around 2K are considered "nasally".
