Well I just slamed down $2400 on the vm7200. I sold my mackie 32-8 and am scalling down my studio.(need to get small). I'm done recording bands to make a side living and look forward to learning this new board. Does any one have any experience with this board? What's your opinion on it? give me the good the bad and the ugly. THanks

I like it so far so good. I've had it about 2 weeks now. I use it with my computer and alesis hd24 and a genx6 master clock. It took me a solid day of viewing the video manual which I recommend highly. It's a must get to help you understand it. You can get that video from roland direct.

I am in a love/hate relationship with my VM3100. I believe they use a lot of the same components. I think the pre's suck but are usable. The effects are decent and the compressor is average.

How did you confirm that? I'm not doubting you but just want to be sure if I tell somebody else that. My secondhand info is that the 7200 is a bigger 3100 but I dont completely trust my source at the music store.

ohhhhh I love new gear!!!!!!!

Well it just arrived. I'm on graves all weekend so I won't have time break it out. I will take the manuals to workbut, I've tried roland manuals before and they weren't that great. I do have some OB pre amps but, are you guys telling me the pre's aren't as good as the mackies? I hope you aren't telling me that. Thanks for your input.
