VM200 Headphone troubles, etc.

I'm recording at home now, and using the Fostex VM200 as my digital mixer into a Waveterminal U24 USB interface into my laptop. I am using the latest Sonar, (also have cakewalk, and acid 4.0 if they would be better but i like sonar). My troubles start with the vm200 headphone jack. maybe mine just doesn't work but i cannot get a sound to come out of it. I know there are various monitoring settings to adjust but I cannot figure it out. Thanks for the help!

Can you get any sound out of the monitor out? Make sure the 2-track button isn't pushed. You also have to set-up the routing to go to the stereo outs. When I get home tonight, I'll look at the exact settings.
 
2-track is definitely not pushed. don't have RCA cable to test the monitor outs.

when i plug the headphones in i hear the typical "plugging something in" sound and it sounds like they are definitly ready to output, but i really cant hear anything even with the gain all the way up.

Sorry it took so long to get back. Anywho, press the system button in the upper left. You should see an option for MON SEL. Adjust the knob til you see ST-B. That's for Stereo Buss Monitoring.
