Vista and cool edit

Guys I am getting ready to buy a new computer. And I only use my cool edit pro program 2.1 as a mixdown program from analog into a m audio delta 44.
My question is will cool edit load into vista and work? Or am I going to have to buy a new program? Thanks

Works for me

I use CEP 2.0 on a laptop with vista home basic without any problems. I use mine with the beta cd burner software provided by CEP back in the day. I've noticed the older CEP program doesn't recognize some of the newer cd burners, but other than that, no problems.
