Hey guys, I'm gearing up to put out my second record and I wanted to get an idea of where I've gotten to in terms of my mixes and such. I'd really apprecaite it if you'd go on over to my page at Soundclick.Com and take a listen to the stuff up there. It's all pretty current, so it should give a good example of whats going to be on the record. I apprecaite any feedback any of you should wish to give. Thanks again for all your help!

Hi,
You'll have to do something with the drums -they jsut sound wrong - it's not such a problem when there's a lot going on but in the intro they seem like they came from band in a box.
You should take a close look at the lyric too:
"Where's the kisses meant for me?" ought to be "where're the kisses meant for me? or Where's the kiss meant for me?"
I know it's a common enough error but it doesn't sound right & reads worse.
Keep going there's a lot to be pleased about...
Cheers

I especially like your vocals and the nice clean guitar. The melody of the song has a haunting quality to it, and your execution of harmonizing with yourself is within the relm of perfection.

The guitar play-off that begins around 4:30 is really cool.

I am not very good at this, but it sounds like the guitars are seperate from the rest of the mix to me. They sound good, just to far from everything else. But I will say this, I am listening on headphones, so tomarrow I will listen on my monitors.

I have listened three times now.

I agree with rayc about the drums.

I love this song. I voted it hot.

I can identify with violetgrey.....passion and uncertainty...that sums up my life.....TRUE

Hi,
Back again. I seem to have erroneously edited out some of my comments before posting.
Things like.."This is a good piece...I like this song etc etc."
Cheers

Thanks guys. The drums sound the way they do bcaue they are all drum machine and, despite how hard I've tried, I can't get them to sound any more real than that. Not trying to make excuses, just the way it is. Thanks again!
