I sit on you.
Wow, I found these old headphones in a box. I knew nothing but what was printed on the side; HD414. They were Sennheisers, so I knew they couldn't sound too bad! The foam ear muff parts were torn and falling apart, so I've cleaned them up and just recived the foam earmuff replacements! Wow.....just wow. I'v never owned any really expensive cans before. I don't think these are top-of-the-line or anything, but they sound better that ANY cans I've listened to before! They're the open style. Here's a pic, not mine, but they look identical. Anyone else had any experience with these vintage classics? Seems to me, through some online research, they were kinda revolutionary and popular!

Congrats. Haven't heard them myself, but apparently Klaus Heyne
uses them when testing out his Microphone mods - So they can't
be without their merrit.

Those are great cans IMHO. They used to be one of the best you could buy, back in the '70's and '80's. I've still got a pair of them; black with yellow foam ear pads... the earlier ones were grey with blue (I think) ear pads. Used to see them alot in studios too.

Good score on your behalf! :)

Yeah, turns out they belong to my dad. He nearly crapped his pants when he saw the renewed hear-o-phones! He'd assumed sometime through the years the dog chewed them up or something. Now he's taken them back....knew I should have hidden them!
