This is great for a beginner just touching the surface. Post some advanced and super advanced info with studio and microphone pro technical info/secrets and common practices.

Oh, and the end of your video reminded me that you really really should do a vid on gain staging.

That would really help ALOT of people (newbs and and experienced alike) out.
Massive master wrote an article on his web page (http://www.massivemastering.com/blog/index_files/Proper_Audio_Recording_Levels.php) about gain staging and after reading it I'm still having a little trouble understanding. There's a discussion going on about it in the recording techniques section but it would still be cool if you could cover it in a vid.
