Video "Carpe Diem"

Third video during the jam session my cousins band did at my place. This is another original. Sort of sounds like Green Day to me. Its ok. Not one of my favorites they played. Some may like it. The last one Im gonna put up in a few days is my favorite. But I have alot of video editing to do on it. Not a bad song but the intro is, to my mind, pointless.
I'd have preferred a different distortion sound butu I know that's a matter of taste & currency.
Nice of you to do this for them.

I really dont like that song. either. Drags out. Too much like Green Day for me
 
When these were filmed, was there a feed into the board for mixing? All of the videos you have posted so far have been really balanced well. It seems to me that there had to be a way to mix these.

Yes, I ran all the mics into my mixer/DAW. I had actually just finished my studio and they were guinee pigs for me to record. My son happened to video tape them to. I had never recorded anyone before or messed with a mixer. So any bad sound is me and my lack of knowledge at that time (2 years ago). Once I started reading the recording part got easier. I think for now on Im gonna video all who come out to record. Adds a little to the experience and I bet they would love to re-live it 20 years later :)

Like these guys!! good tunes! need rearrangement but the potential sounds there.. And so true about the vids, I have a collection of stuff from when I was a kid and it's golden to pull them out when a few of the old bandmates call around for a beer.. Cringeworthy! But golden!

I wish when I was a kid someone had a video camera then. We still had wooden cameras :)
