VF160EX recording issue

I had just completed doing a DIR REC TRK of a vocal and went back to do the second harmony part, pressed the "STORE" button by mistake, pressed "EXIT" and then tried to record by pressing the DIR REC TRK button. It failed to turn red. I shut down completely, let it rest for a few minutes, and restarted. Nothing I do seems to make it come back on. The BUSS REC TRK lights up red when I press it but it doesn't record either. The DIR REC TRK doesn't light up either. Any advice will be appreciated.

Anything plugged into the back of the VF? Footswitch in the wrong jack (or the wrong kind of footswitch in the right jack). Try rebooting with all 1/4-inch jacks removed from the back panel.
