After the update (that I haven't done yet) apparently the VF160 doesn't do an automatic 2 second space between songs on a burned CD. But I like that being done, and I don't want to have to add 2 secs. of dead space at the end of every mastered song. Does the update allow you to restore the automatic 2 sec space as a default? or even at all? The manual supplement doesn't seem to say it does...

My machine is working great without the update (on V1.05), are there any "issues" this new update needed to deal with, or is it just additional features being added?

VF160 2 seconds silence

As far as I can see, there is no way to set a 2-second gap, but what's the problem? - you just move the clipboard out point. Easy.
My problem was 2 seconds was never enough. By varying the clipboard out point, I can make the gap the size I want.

Also the CD play facilities in 2.01 are great. As is the fact that I can now copy music CDs using the VF160 because the tracks on the CD are marked as events when they are imported. The events are then written as tracks when a copy is burned on the VF internal drive. Neat.

Does 2.01 address any problems?

Does anyone know if the version 2.01 deals with any known "bugs", apart from adding the additional features? Right now version 1.15 is doing fine by me, but I'd like to know if there are known issues 2.01 addresses...

I'd be happy to upgrade if there were known issues that had been dealt with, but just adding the new play options of 2.01 and losing the automatic 2-sec. space between songs on a burned CD is not something I'd like to do.
