vf08 to computer without spdif input

i've seen similar questions posted here, but no good answer just yet--atleast not one i've understood.
Is there a way to get recorded tracks from the vf08 to a pc with a soundblaster live card (which does not, i believe, have a digital input)? do i need to upgrade the sound card? in other words, what are you guys doing to edit your music and make cds?

Try Running the Phones out to the LIne-In...May need a 1/4" to 1/8" cord though....
