vestax 2000 vs technics 1200

i'm finced to get a pair, what are yalls opinons one them????

I've never used the Vestax 2000. I own Tech12s and I like them. I purchased mine used and are holding up very well, even for a noobie turntablist like myself. I spent about 3 months researching tables and I found that the way to go is the Tech12s. I hear the Vestax's are very nice as well. The best thing to do is go to a local store and play around with both units. Whichever feels better may be the way to go.

I've been using Technic 1200's for 20 years. So, I am biased toward the 12's.

However, I do know, for a fact, that the 1200's are the "industry" standard, world-wide.

I would suggest that you pick up a used pair of 1200's. Then get them tuned-up.

You could get a used pair for about $250 - $300 USD.

I have heard that the Beat Junkies are now using the Vestax tables. But then again, Vestax is their sponsor. ;)
 
yeah, i see everybody with the vestax's now days....... i probably will have to buy new tables because i don't have anywhere around me where i can take them to get em tuned up...... i really like the look of the vestax and i think they might have a better feel..... i still have my mpc which i'm tryin to master but i'm finna get me some tables here soon....... anyone else got any opinions?
