vegas/ Mic preamp

Can anyone recommend a decend (affordable mic pre ?
I ma using A deltaa 10/10 card ,Vegas audio, An Alesis studio 32 mixing board (I am currently using this, pre-delta .)
Perhaps this isn't the right forum for this, but I prefer to ask someone using the same tools as I.

Also, I would like to say that ,I just started using this forum a few days ago, and it is great!!! It has been very helpful to me, reading through past threads. Everyone on here seems to be very willing to share hard earned knowledge and that is great !
I was very dissapointed with the vegas forum on the Soic Foundry site, it seems people are more interested in arguing than they are about truly answering questions...... Just thaought I would say my piece.

I have two of these and have been very happy with them. As for what you should offer him... that's a tough one. I paid $80 a piece for mine and each one is two channel!

It's a good way to get started -in my opinion.
