Vegas 3 Crashing after media player 9

Has anyone else had this problem,
it goes away after uninstalling the new version 9
I could record or playback but will lock up after hitting the stop button.

Any ideas??

btw Just downloaded the beta for vegas 4
 
Have you installed any new DX plugins or anything like that I had a couple of conflicts with plugins even though I didn't have them active, it would still lock up on me.
 
Yes I had installed a few new dx plug ins but all the problems went away after reverting media player to a version earlyer than nine



and the demo for Vegas 4 works really well for me so far.
