Could I buy variax electronics from anywhere? I want to put the guts of a variax into a warmoth guitar. That way I could use a body and neck that I liked and not have to waste money on the variax body.

I don't think so. I checked into it, and the cheapest way, and the way most people are getting the guts is by buying the 300, and e-baying the body and neck.
Might be wrong, but that was all I could find when I was trying to stick some guts into my strat.
