Hi friends, I'm just arriving on this forum. I'm Kelpo from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I'm a producer and I play keyboards around here ...
When you talk about the V67 are you talking about the Marshall V67 tube condenser? Or is this other mic? Have you heard about the Studio Projects C3 and T3?

Well, hope that we can have a good time exchanging our ideas. See ya, Kelpo.

lawd have mercy i'm bracing for this...lol...:D

I'd suggest doing a search for "v67" or "v67g" or "v67m" using the search feature for this forum (link above right) and you'll find out tons..

I just bought a vg7m at mars myself this past weekend and am very pleased.

good luck and see you in a month or two after you catch up on the v67 posts. lol..jk.:D

Hi Kelpo, welcome aboard.

The V67 you keep hearing about is the Marshall Electronics MXL V67G or V67M, the G is the Gold version and the M is the black one sold by the Mars stores. They are great mics, but they don't have a tube in them. The tube versions are the V77 and the V69 I believe.

The C3 is a Studio Projects mic, it costs a bit more but has multiple pickup patterns and a pad switch (?) It is also a great mic.
The T3 is the Tube mic of their line.

Hi vox and CDT, thanks for your attention. Have your heard the sound of the T3 already? I read in some reviews that it is similar to the AKG C12VR ...true ...?

Probably not true, when the C1 first came out there was a lot of noise because somebody posted a review saying it was exactly like a U87, which of course is not true. I would guess that this is more of the same irresponsible crap.

Studio Projects C1

Sure. I've downloaded a shootout between a C1, a U87, a U69 and a AKG 414. The C1 sounded great, similar to the 414, but nothing to do with the U87 ...
